Transform Your Commercial Spaces in 2022

When it comes to transforming offices, commercial environments and customer-facing spaces, Intertech Contracts can provide a comprehensive service for a very affordable price.

As professional painters, decorators and joiners who are based in East Yorkshire and available for projects across the UK, the team at Intertech Contracts appreciates the power of a clean, vibrant and eye-catching workplace. Whether your commercial surroundings simply need a fresh coat of paint or you’re looking for a more in-depth upgrade, below are some ways that the team can make it happen quickly and affordably.

Professional joinery

Intertech Contracts has a team of qualified and highly experienced joiners who can design and build anything required, from stairs to doorways and every in between. By having new structures installed in your commercial environment, you can make the most of the space available to you and maximise workflow.

In many instances, Intertech Contracts is asked to deliver professional joinery in order to improve the quality, safety, accessibility and stability of a working space. On other occasions, it’s simply to create new areas through partitioning, which can then be used for storing stock, housing equipment, holding meetings, or providing a secluded spot where your staff can relax and grab a bite to eat during their lunch break.

Dry lining services

When you need internal walls resurfacing, a plasterer always springs to mind. However, plastering is a very lengthy process, as the wet plaster needs to be left to dry for days or potentially weeks before painting. Dry lining is different, as it involves attaching plasterboard to the existing walls.

Thanks to the plasterboards being brand new and of the highest quality, dry lining guarantees a smooth finish without any bumps, grooves and dips that would spoil the end result. It’s also a much faster process than applying wet plaster, as the plasterboards are cut and shaped to the precise dimensions of each wall prior to being fitted. As an added bonus, dry lining integrates fire safety, acoustic design and thermal efficiency as standard, making it ideal for modern office buildings and retail units.

Tape and jointing

If you’re choosing dry lining, this is followed by the tape and jointing method. Though the plasterboards are already smooth, tape and jointing fills in the edges to create a truly flawless finish from wall to wall and floor to ceiling. Your walls are now ready for painting and decorating. Speaking of which…

Whether you’re in the mood for bright whites, soft pastels, vibrant splashes of colour or patterned wallpaper throughout your commercial spaces, Intertech Contracts can supply it all.
