The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 makes a responsible person accountable for fire doors in non-domestic premises and communal residential areas, and the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 added scheduled checks in buildings over 11 metres. The commonest inspection failures — worn seals, the wrong closer, gaps out of tolerance — come from treating the door as a single item rather than a certified assembly, which is why we quote the whole system.
